London Olympics 2012 Logo
June 5th, 2007I remember the day almost two years ago when London was chosen as the home for the 2012 Olympics. I also remember my acute disappointment that Akron was overlooked once again. Keep your head up Rubber city, your time will come.
It’s taken some time to recover but I have moved on and forgotten about the snub, that was until I saw the newly unveiled logo for the 2012 Olympics in London. Holy cow is that thing ugly. It is the nastiest logo I’ve ever seen, it is truly ugly. The blog Gems Sky did a nice little writeup on the logo and people impressions of it.

June 23rd, 2007 at 11:03 amI agree. This is one of the worst logo designs EVER! I just don’t understand exactly what message they are trying to convey with this. Coudal Partners posted a short defense of this logo design. They make some valid points, but I’m sticking with my initial assessment. This just sucks!
